Leachate Treatment Project for Landfills in Sichuan

Project Overview

This landfill leachate project has a treatment capacity of 120 tph and is characterized by high concentrations of organic pollutants, significant water quality fluctuations, high conductivity, high salt content, and poor biodegradability. The previous approach, which utilized a biochemical process combined with a traditional spiral-wound membrane system, consistently failed to meet the required discharge standards. Nais undertook the project’s renovation and operation, implementing an AO-MBR (Anoxic-Oxic Membrane Bioreactor) combined with a SUPER RO process. The treated effluent now meets the relevant standards outlined in the Pollution Control Standard for Domestic Waste Landfills (GB16889-2008).
